The heart has meeting rooms the material world cannot rent.
In these meeting places,
we are honest with ourselves,
and our best friends.
Conversations take place
in codes no one else understands
about needs no one else told us to have.
In these sacred spaces, God roams freely with our other friends.
While we pass time together,
fun is taken seriously.
And serious issues are fun to solve.
Strangely enough, within the heart,
no one fights,
though opinions can always differ.
But some of the best moments happen
after the material world charts a death
or
a loss of our friends.
But for those who know how to see,
it’s only a matter of time
before our departed friends
return to our heart for a visit.
And they will stay as long as they wish.
